PharmaZ247 handles medicines, money and patient information — three things that deserve care. This policy sets out how the platform may and may not be used. It applies to every user: owners, managers, pharmacists, cashiers, warehouse staff, accountants, doctors and MRs.
1. Lawful pharmacy use
- PharmaZ247 may only be used by pharmacies holding a valid drug licence, and only for lawful pharmacy business.
- All use must comply with DGDA regulations, NBR requirements and other applicable law in your jurisdiction.
2. Prescriptions and controlled medicines
- Do not attempt to bypass, disable or trick the prescription gate. Prescription-only medicines must only be dispensed against a valid prescription verified by a pharmacist.
- Manager overrides exist for genuine, documented exceptions — using them routinely, or to avoid the rules, is a breach of this policy.
- Controlled-substance registers must reflect reality. Entering false quantities, fictitious customers or backdated records is strictly prohibited.
3. Records and audit logs
- Audit records are append-only by design. Any attempt to alter, delete, obstruct or falsify audit data — technically or through misuse of accounts — is a serious breach and may be reported to the authorities where the law requires.
- Stock adjustments, returns and discounts must be recorded with truthful reasons.
4. Accounts and PINs
- One person, one login. Sharing accounts or PINs between staff members is not permitted — it destroys the accountability the system provides you.
- Choose sensible PINs, lock the till when stepping away, and report suspected compromise immediately.
- Do not attempt to access modules, branches or data beyond your assigned role.
5. Patient and customer data
- Patient information (health profiles, prescriptions, medication history) may be used only to provide pharmacy care and service to that patient.
- Never sell, publish or share patient data with anyone outside the pharmacy's professional duty of care.
- Look up only the customers you are serving. Access is logged.
6. SMS and notifications
- SMS features exist for service messages: OTP codes, order updates, refill and appointment reminders.
- Marketing messages may only be sent to customers who have agreed to receive them, and must include the pharmacy's identity. Spam harms every pharmacy on the platform and is not permitted.
7. Teleconsultation conduct
- Video consultations are between the patient and the doctor, and must be conducted professionally.
- Recording a consultation without the clear consent of both parties is prohibited.
8. Prohibited activities
- Reverse engineering, copying or reselling the software, or using it to build a competing product.
- Probing, scanning or testing the security of the platform without written permission.
- Introducing malware, scraping data at scale, or overloading the service.
- Using the platform to sell counterfeit, stolen, banned or unregistered medicines.
9. Fair use
SMS volumes, storage and video minutes are subject to fair-use limits described in your plan. We will contact you before applying any restriction if your usage is unusually high.
10. Enforcement
Depending on severity, breaches may lead to a warning, suspension of specific features, suspension of accounts, or termination under the Terms & Conditions. Where the law requires — for example falsified controlled-substance registers — we may be obliged to report to the relevant authorities.
