💊 Safe Selling

A counter that protects your customers

If two medicines shouldn't be taken together, the counter warns you before they're sold. If a medicine needs a prescription, it simply won't sell without one. Safer for your customers — safer for your licence.

What it does for you

Small things that make a big difference

No jargon — just the everyday problems this takes off your plate.

⚠️

Warns before a bad combination

If two medicines in the basket don't go together, the cashier sees a warning before the sale — not after the harm.

🚧

No prescription, no sale

Prescription-only medicines are blocked at the counter until a prescription is recorded. Only a manager can override, and it's logged.

🧪

Controlled medicines, recorded properly

Schedule drugs get their own register entry with every sale — written automatically, ready for any inspection.

🔄

Out of stock? Suggest a substitute

The counter offers same-ingredient alternatives with prices, so the customer leaves with something safe instead of nothing.

📚

Medicine information on hand

Dosage and safety details right at the counter, when the customer asks.

🖋️

Every exception is on record

Any warning that gets overridden is recorded permanently — who, what, when.

Questions people ask us

Safe Selling — your questions answered

The things pharmacy owners ask us most about this.

What happens when two medicines clash?
The moment both are on the same bill, the cashier sees a clear warning. The pharmacist decides what to do — and whatever they decide is recorded.
Can staff sell prescription medicines without a prescription?
No. The sale is blocked until a prescription is recorded. A manager can override in a genuine case, and that override is logged permanently.
How are controlled medicines handled?
Every sale writes its own register entry automatically — quantities, customer, staff member. The monthly register is always up to date without anyone maintaining it.
What if a medicine is out of stock?
The counter suggests alternatives with the same ingredient, with prices, so your customer doesn't walk out empty-handed.
Does this protect my drug licence?
Yes — that's the point. The rules DGDA cares about are enforced by the till itself, and the records prove it.
